There are two types of admission of children into school – the ‘Main Round’ and ‘In-Year’ admissions.
Main Round
This is when children are admitted to school at the beginning of the new school year in September. They start in Reception year (Year R) usually when they are four years old. We would encourage you to apply for a Main Round place using the Hampshire County Council (HCC) online application. If you do not wish to apply online a paper form can be obtained from either HCC or any HCC school
In-Year Admissions
This is when you wish to change schools during the school year, due to a house move for example. You may apply for an In-Year place using the Hampshire County Council (HCC) online application. If you do not wish to apply online a paper form can be obtained from any HCC school.
